Stalls 2025 – Manchester & Salford Anarchist Bookfair 2026

Manchester & Salford Anarchist Bookfair 2025 took place at the People’s History Museum on Saturday 8th November.

Here’s the first announcement re: stalls. We’ll be updating this page on a regular basis over coming weeks.

After a break of several years it is great to welcome AK Press back to Manchester & Salford Anarchist Bookfair.
“AK Press is a worker-run collective that publishes and distributes radical books, visual and audio media, and other mind-altering material. We’re small: a few people who work long hours for short money, because we believe in what we do. We’re anarchists, which is reflected both in the books we provide and in the way we organize our business. Decisions at AK Press are made collectively, from what we publish, to what we distribute and how we structure our labor. All the work, from sweeping floors to answering phones, is shared. “Stolen Skies is a new calendar project for 2026 – fundraising for prisoner support and solidarity.The calendar features 12 lino prints; each month tells a different story of prison resistance or solidarity. Printed on a Riso printer, an a4 design, the cover is Black – with Gold text. Inner pages are Black and White.
Stolen Skies calendar is a fundraiser project for prisoners supported by Bristol Anarchist Black Cross (ABC). Bristol ABC predominantly supports those still imprisoned from the Kill the Bill Protests in 2021. Money will go to visits, materials needs, legal costs, post-release support, campaign materials and more. 100% of money goes to prisoner support.“

Between us we had decades of experience of radical politics, campaigning, leafletting, demonstrating, confronting fascists, printing and fly-posting – and we were talking about our common interest in radical posters.
We decided that we should pull together a collection of radical posters; and we would try re-printing some and see if we could sell any.
We agreed that we wanted to be non-profit making; and that any surplus money we did make, we would donate to good causes. Our interest was in developing and curating a collection of good quality radical posters rather than starting a business. We agreed to call ourselves the Radical Poster Collective.”
